Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming period spy movie, The King’s Man, will come out on 18th September 2020. The third entry in the popular Kingsman film series would be a prequel. The King’s Man will feature a stellar cast consisting of Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.
The King’s Man is a loose adaptation of the comic book series Kingsman that was created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar. Matthew Vaughn, the director and the co-producer of the film, announced that he is working on a prequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
During the early development phase, The King’s Man was titled Kingsman: The Great Game. The idea was to make a film that takes place in the early 1900s and show us how the spy agency was established. The idea also included plans to film a sequel to the first two films alongside this prequel.
