Abhay Deol has signed a deal for a 10-episodes series for Disney+Hotstar. He will appear in a show about the India-China conflict of 1962. The series will show the Great Indian Army under Major Shaitan Singh.
Mahesh Manjrekar will be the director of this series, which is expected to be one of the most expensive originals from Hotstar. The Abhay Deol starrer is expected to premiere by end of 2020.
At present, Hotstar is very secretive about this web series, and we haven’t got any news or leaks about the story or name of the show.
Recently, Abhay Deol talked about his meet-and-greet with the popular Hollywood stars and filmmakers. He talked about his meeting with Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival.
Abhay Deol was last seen in Netflix original series ‘What are the odds?’. In addition to this unnamed India-China war web series, Abhay Deol is also going to appear in the film, Bounty Hunter. He is also the co-producer of the film.
His other projects include his appearance as King Vikramaditya in the Tamil film, Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai. Both these films were scheduled to come out in 2020 but were delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
